Lets see. This thread would generally have to be on the Announcements Section, but I need your feedback, so I'll leave it here.
I have a few points that need to be noted and discussed
1. The name. You see, Pokemon League is a great name and all, but however, 'Pokemon League' is an official part of the pokemon and nintendo series. This may cause problems similar to what Omega faced (copyright). Therefore we will probably have to change the name. If it is possible to keep the name, please find out. However, if it is not, we will need your help to come up with a new one. So please do leave your suggestions in the comments.
2. Pokemon. In order to maintain the rarity of pokemon, and in turn, the thrill of the game, we will be setting some standards. Starters and Legends will not be available on maps. Legends will be available through quests, however starters can only be obtained at sign up and trade. Some pokemon like beldum, that are of higher value than pokemon like Starly will be less frequent occurrences.
3. Maps. We are always open to suggestions based on maps. We are hoping to make weather (There will be snow or rain according to the weather at that time of year.) but however this takes a lot of coding and animations, so sadly we don't think it will be available as soon as the game releases.
4. Gyms. A few early ideas were that if you wanted to battle gyms, you would have to go to the map where it is found. Now I understand that ease of access is a big thing, and therefore gyms on a menu like Omega had would be much more efficient. However, I was thinking that what if we put the gyms in the map; and once you battle one of them it would appear on a mini-menu.
For example: I just joined and I want to battle the Water gym. Then I would have to go to the map the Water gym was in, and then go in it and battle. However, since I've visited the Water gym once, it will appear on a menu that allows me to battle that gym anytime.
SO please leave your feedback about this idea, because we need the public's vote beforehand
I will edit the thread when needed for more topics of discussion.
Your feedback is essential, please do comment.
